Our Grant process
How we choose

-
Application Submission:
-
Interested participants are required to submit an application that includes personal details, a description of their musical experience, and their aspirations in music. This is accompanied by a performance video that showcases their talent.
-
-
Initial Review:
-
Applications are first reviewed by a panel of volunteers from various musical backgrounds. This initial screening focuses on evaluating the musical ability, potential for growth, and the personal story of each applicant to ensure alignment with the organization’s mission.
-
-
Interviews:
-
Shortlisted candidates are invited for interviews. These may be conducted virtually or in person. The interviews help gain a deeper understanding of the candidates' commitment to music, their current circumstances, and how the resources provided by True Talent Helper could impact their musical journey.
-
-
Performance Audition:
-
Candidates may be asked to perform live or submit additional recordings. This step allows the selection committee to assess their skills in a live setting, providing a clearer picture of their stage presence and technical proficiency.
-
-
Final Selection:
-
The selection committee convenes to discuss each candidate thoroughly, considering all aspects of their application and auditions. Decisions are made based on a combination of talent, need, and potential impact of the support on their future.
